106 & Park legend "Posta Boy" talks losing his brother in 9/11 attack, beating cancer twice & new mixtape
A lot of rappers talk about having hardships in life, but this is a one-of-a-kind story of adversity and courage that's second to none in the Hip Hop world.
We all remember Posta (Formerly known as Posta Boy) the young rapper from Harlem who became Legendary as the 1st rapper to win 106 & Park's freestyle friday 8 times in a row, and sparked bidding wars with everyone from Jermaine dupri to Master P and every Major label.
Shortly after signing a deal with Universal, posta suddenly disappeared from the music scene leaving many fans wondering "what happened?"
Little did any of us know he had been diagonosed with Cancer (twice) and hit with the unfortunate news that he only had "6 months to live."
When asked how he coped with having cancer he responded:
Against-all-odds Posta now lives Cancer free and he's a spokesperson for the "American Cancer Society". He's back on his music grind sounding better than ever with a new mixtape dropping today in honor of his only brother who was killed in the 9/11 World Trade Center attack.
Posta's new mixtape "On The Way To The ER" is available for download now. CLICK HERE
