Mary Harvey's former assistant speaks out in Steve's defense. says Mary had "Erratic" behavior

Mary Harvey's former personal assistant of two years, "Jocelyn," called into "The Rickey Smiley Show" to give her take on what happened. Here's what she said:

On Mary's personality And Steve Taking Their Son Away From Her

Jocelyn said Mary's personality was erratic and unpredictable. She could turn on a dime. And Steve never "took" their son away from her. In fact, Mary had her put their son on a plane in 2008, and only alert Steve of their son's arrival 30 minutes before the plane landed. Steve didn't even know Mary was sending their son to live with him.

On Steve's Success

Jocelyn thinks Mary was jealous of Steve's success and his fame. And that she regrets leaving him because she is no longer in that lifestyle.

On The Divorce Settlement

Jocelyn thinks Mary receives about $40,000 a month; but, this was before the papers were signed.

On The Water Being Turned Off In Mary's Home

She said there was a house where the water was turned off. But it was at ONE of the Harvey homes that the couple didn't live in, as it was being prepared to be sold.

DJ Premier breaks sad news, Hip Hop PIONEER DJ Kool Herc hospitalized, needs financial help

DJ Premier shared some terrible news today on the health condition of DJ Kool Herc. According to Premo's site. SOHH

MY THOUGHTS: a lot of rappers are on youtube throwing money around and bragging about how rich they are... i hope these artist who are aware of Kool Herc's situation will have a kind & giving heart and help a man who helped launch ALL of our careers.... everyone one who has ever made a DIME in the name of HIP HOP who is in a good financial position to help DJ Kool Herc should help him.

This weekend Nicki Minaj had a chance to do one of the things she loves most "acting"... she made a appearence on NBC's Saturday Night Live. she acted in several skits... one of which she plays the sassy "Bride of Blackenstine" with a southern accent. Another one where she plays a nerdy rapper in a music video about weirdos called "The Creep".. Nicki's part in the video is at the (1:37 mark). Being on SNL is a HUGE look for Nicki.

50 Cent and Ciara have Twitter Beef

Twitter beef is at a all time high this week... 1st Joe Budden vs Marlon Waynan's. Now 50 Cent vs Ciara... apparently 50 said something on twitter about wanting to be a Pimp that may have rubbed Ciara the wrong way.. Ciara then sent out a subliminal tweet that may or may NOT have been directed at 50 Cent saying how the things people tweet are a reflection of their character.... thats when things hit the fan.... 50 responded to Ciara's tweet by calling her a B**** and recommending she get a sense of humor. that's when the subliminals turned into using actual names.

I think i watched this video atleast 20 times, it's HILIAROUS!!!! Here's the backstory. Mr Cee bet the Angie Martinez Show that they couldn't do the chris Brown's "Look At Me Now" song featuring Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne. Angie and the team confident in their skills, gladly excepted Cee's karaoke challenge... here's the run down.

1st up... is my boy Drewski.. rapping Chris Browns verse, he is the Angie Martinez show producer.... One reason why this video is priceless to me is because Drew is the nicest, sweetest, most humble, quiet guy you could ever meet... I never heard Drew curse before.. to see him doing Chris Browns verse with those curses is PRICELESS!!! and his swag was impressive (who knew?) GO DREW!!!!

Next up is my girl Angie Martinez.. she BODIED, MURDERED, KILLED Busta's verse... all while preparing lunch in the process LOL!! i think Cee should pay her double for that one...

Last but not least performing Lil Waynes verse is my boy "The Heavy Hitter" CEO himself Dj Enuff....he was really getting into that wayne verse like he was on stage at the garden... He had the hand motions and was lookin at Cee like "WHAT" pay me my $300!!! and i love the way he was backing up angie like the hype man (watch out spliff star) lol...GO E!!

I LOVE IT!!!! i always like this song, but like it even more now :)

Jay Z partners with Will & Jada Smith for a film venture. Annie remake in the works

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and their partners at Overbrook Entertainment have formed a joint-venture with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter to develop and produce major motion pictures. First up? A remake of the Broadway musical "Annie," in which Will and Jada's daughter, Willow -- who recently signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label -- will star in.

The partnership between Will and Jada and Jay-Z began when the three decided to invest in the beauty line Carol's Daughter. Their next venture together was when they joined forces again to co-produce the Broadway play "Fela!" Since then, Willow, who is managed by Overbrook's Miguel Melendez, has signed to Roc Nation and released first single "Whip My Hair."

"The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We've already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we're developing a true superstar in Willow," said Jay-Z in a statement. "This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative and innovative."

Black mom jailed for sending kids to a better school outside her district in a white neighborhood

This story is crazy to me. Its causing outrage around the country and causing many to question if americas educational system is fair and equal for ALL children. Kelly Williams-Bolar, A african american mother who works with special education children and attends school for her teaching degree in Ohio was recently sentenced to 10 days in jail, 2 years probation and 80 hours of community service for (allegedly) lying about living in her fathers district so she could get her kids into a better school for free in a white district.

Kelly says her home was broken into, she was worried for her kids safety, she would stay back and forth between her home and her fathers home, she used her fathers address to get the kids into the school. She says she wanted a better education for her daughters and couldn't afford the monthly tuition. Prosecutors said her lies cost the district about $30,000. Copley-Fairlawn does not have open enrollment and out-of-district tuition is about $800 per month.

"A woman is being vilified because she wanted something better for her children. Under the current laws of Ohio, Williams-Bolar committed a crime. This can’t be argued. What can be argued is whether the actions by the court are right and appropriate for the defendant’s situation." -Elon James White

My question is, does the punishment fit the crime? Things like this shouldn't be happening in america. The best quality education should be available for ALL children and not just those living in good neighborhoods.
