Alanis Morissette covers Fergie "My Humps" (Funny video)

Why am i just seeing this video years after? First let me say... Alanis Morissette is absolutely crazy for this, and I LOVE IT!!!!

This video quickly went viral back in 2007 and got over 18 MILLION hits on youtube before being removed for Copyright infringement.

This video will be most funny to people who are familiar with the original version of "My Humps" by Blackeye Peas & Fergie. The song & video was a hit, but was constantly critized by people who felt the songs lyrics were dumb and degrading to women.

Despite being mocked in this spoof video, Fergie admits she likes it, and to show she had no hard feelings... she sent Alanis a cake in the shape of a Butt.

If you're under 25 and don't remember Alanis Morissette, she was the Adele of the 90's (but even bigger) She sold 33 MILLION copies of one album and is most known for her single "Isn't It Ironic"...

Now picture Adele doing a ballad version of Nicki Minaj's verse on Big Sean's song "Dance Ass Ass Ass", lol.

I don't know what inspired Alanis to spoof "My Humps", my theory is.... she was probably in the studio one night writing real lyrics and feeling frustrated by the attention a song like "My Humps" was getting...

Alanis kept the lyrics the same but sang it like a ballad... hearing it in ballad form really makes you realize how ridiculous the "My Humps" lyrics are.
