Anderson Cooper addresses Star Jones diss (VIDEO)

Anderson Cooper is one of the most genuine people on TV, I've been a fan of his ever since i saw how he handled the Katrina story.

Not only is he a classy person with morals... he has a good heart and cares about people. Why anyone would want to attack his character is beyond me.

Star Jones went on TV and accused him of coming out the closet about being gay, just to get ratings for his show...

I'm one of those people who thinks everything is a publicity stunt, but i never felt that way about Anderson. In my opinion.. Unlike most people who are in desperate need for attention... Anderson is at the top of his game and has no need for the trickery.

Anderson not only dismissed Star's claims (with actual facts) reminding people that he wasn't even on the air at the time he addressed being gay.

He continued to completely shut Star DOWN by reminding people it was Star who went on TV (The View) everyday and promoted her wedding just to get free products and ratings... and it was also Star who lied to the audience about having gastric bypass surgery.

“I haven’t thought about Star Jones in I don’t know how long. I was unaware she was even on TV still,”

“I seem to recall her hocking her wedding every single day to get free products when she was on The View and I seem to recall her lying about her gastric bypass surgery and making everybody else lie about it as well. So for her to suddenly emerge out of the shadows and suddenly attack me for this, I couldn’t believe it.” (-Anderson Cooper)

Anderson went in HARD, but still had a smile of his face... Still the classy guy i love..
