Akai Releasing New Software Based MPC

WOW! This is GREAT news for MPC lovers (including myself). Akai is releasing a new MPC called the Reanissance. It's a controller not a Drum Machine... that's fine with me, as long as i can feel like I'm on the MP :)

Back in 2006 When i produced Saigon's Pain In My Life single, i used the MPC 2000, when i went in the studio for the mix session, Just Blaze was there and he showed me some new software based technology that he was using.

The new technology was interesting to me, but i was so comfortable on the MPC that i never switched to anything else.

CONFESSION: Though many loved the 4000, I wasn't a fan at all. I had access to one for a few days to see if i liked it or not... I quickly gave it back, a million steps to complete one task (NO Thanks).

Today, When my friend Legendary artist/producer Def Jef told me a new MPC is coming out that he thinks i'll like, i got excited. I can't wait to check it out.
