I really believe that Nicki Minaj has used Lil' Kim gimick to place herself. Nicki in the beginning, was nothing like Kim, but the later she came along in her career, the more similar things began to look Kim-esque. The wigs, the fur coats with bikinis, the implants, and the attitudes. I don't agree with the fact that Kim did "Black Friday," being the Queen, she didn't have to stoop down to Nicki's shots. Kim is always going to be Kim, and I am always going to have love for her!

You have to give Lil Kim some respect and Nicki is being disrepectful. LK may not be as hot as Nicki now, but where was Nicki in 1995? Before LK and Foxy Brown blew up there were female rappers out there, but most of them were trying to be hard and swing the bat like the fellas! Many female rappers before LK had the swag of men wearing Timberland boots looking for a ruff-neck! Lil Kim came in the game with the statement of being ALL GIRL and sexy. Lil Kim sent the message that she was for the money and nothing is for free! LK paved the way for Nicki and knocked down the doors that Nicki can now walk through!
Keep in mind that Lil Kim had doors knocked down for her too! She never dissed groups like Salt-n-Pepa who paved the way for her! There have been many female rappers that I don't have space to mention that paved the way! So who is Nicki to think that she's sooo hot that she did it all by herself? That's like Mary J Blige giving a middle finger to Patti Labelle or Chaka Khan......you don't do that! Like Kim said....maybe her management is the influence for the disrespect! In the music game ...if you can take out somebody that had the title you claim....it make you look good, plus we know that beef and drama sells! I just think Nicki should be more woman that that and show some respect!
The only issue I have with Lil Kim is all the surgery! She was the bomb in 1996 when her first album dropped and she looked good! Women shouldn't be afraid to age gracefully! Make-up should be as far as any woman should go!
